Item Description
Glaucodot is a rare Co-Fe-As sulfosalt and is a member of the Arsenopyrite Group. A sculptural vein of the matte to lustrous metal occupies the upper half of this rare, rich and fine example of this species from this historic locale. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection, a noted Czech specialist. The species is VERY RARE from any Czech locality and this is a 19th Century piece, according to the Vajdak label. Possibly unique!
