Item Description

Glaucocerinite is a rare, complex, hydrated sulfate, and this very colorful and sculptural miniature is from the ancient and famous Type Locality area of Lavrion, Greece. The robin's-egg blue botryoids are striking and beautiful, and they richly cover the complex, undulating matrix. The intensity of the blue varies across the piece, which adds visual interest.
