Item Description
A so-called Gitter Quartz specimen from the famous Erongo Mountains. Often, you see these as Quartz crystals somehow lining a large Orthoclase crystal, but in this case the specimen is dominated by large Quartz crystals up to 3 cm, and some are gemmy! Also, there is the huge bonus of a fabulous 2.5 cm cluster of gemmy Hyalite Opal attached to one end. Of course, its fluorescence is superb. An excellent specimen of these unusually styled Quartzes.
