Item Description

Gismondine is an uncommon zeolite group species. Lustrous, translucent, colorless to tan, nubby spheroids of intergrown gismondine crystals richly and attractively cover the wedge of basalt matrix from a very uncommon locality near Rome, and near the Type Locality. Old material from the Charles Velte Collection and comes with his faded label. Unusual material!
