Item Description
The Gibeon meteorite fall took place in prehistoric times over a large area (strewn field) of the Hardap Region of Namibia. It is an iron meteorite (iron-nickel alloy) classified as a fine octahedrite. This cabochon cut and polished specimen has classic Widmanstatten patterns. It is eminently suitable for jewelry or as a collectible. 39.75 carats or almost 8 grams.
