This an absolutely stunning and gigantic faceted NATURAL Citrine gem. Citrine may be well known among gem dealers and collectors, but the majority of the material on the market has been treated to enhance or even CREATE the yellow color, and this stone is undoubtedly the largest, cleanest faceted Citrine I've seen from this area, and may quite possibly be the largest one from this area extant. This gem is an interesting "smoky" golden color, very slightly included piece with a highly desirable "Portuguese Oval" cut. This is a true "museum" stone, and ANY gem with this size with this clarity is rare regardless of the material! The color of the stone is partiuclarly important because this is naturally occuring NON-heated Citrine, and it is not a Brazilian stone either.
