Item Description
aegirine crystals from any Greenland locality are RARE. This sharp, lustrous, euhedral, pseudohexagonal crystal qualifies as HUGE for the locale, the famous Narssarssuk pegmatite. The color is a very dark green to black. Overall, this giant crystal is very sharply formed, and the contacted ends and one side are minimal detractions to the importance of this IMPORTANT and very large, Greenland aegirine crystal. Ex Erling Collection. Valued at $800-1000 for rarity and size. Definitely old-time material.
