Item Description

Here we have a fantastic small cabinet / large miniature sized specimen featuring superb areas of deep blood red colored Getchellite in the form of vitreous, platy crystal faces, with associated Orpiment with a semi-metallic golden-orange color. Additionally there is dark silvery-grey Stibnite present on the piece as well. The Orpiment crystals show a layered growth / formation, but there are some cleaved crystals that can be seen as well. A superb overall specimen from the type locality for Getchellite. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better example for sale in any format today. Valued $750.
