Item Description

A rich and fine combination specimen of the very rare germanium sulfosalt species renierite and germanite from the Tsumeb Mine. Magenta renierite microcrystal clusters are richly scattered on the front of the solid matrix of gray, metallic-luster germanite. The back hosts just a bit of renierite plus a few golden chalcopyrite crystals. Tsumeb is the Type Locality for germanite. From the 29 Level of this world-famous and closed mine.
