Item Description

The oxidation zones of the world-famous Tsumeb Mine Tsumeb are the Type Locality for Germanite. This region was noted for its incredible wealth of very rare elements and minerals containing Germanium, among others. This solid 25 gram piece of Germanite ore ranges from mauve veins to gold spatterings, and it can show a colorful purple-green-blue iridescence. An excellent thumbnail.
