Item Description
Geocronite is an uncommon lead, antimony, arsenic sulfosalt. This very rich and very rare, two-sided, CABINET-sized ore specimen features a thick, layered vein of lustrous, metallic lead-gray geocronite in sulfide matrix. Ex Bohemia Royal Museum and Joseph Vajdak Collections with labels (xeroxes of originals he maintained). Vajdak is a noted Pribram collector and both labels indicate, that the piece was collected in circa 1920 in the 24th Level of Uranium Mine #16 here. Vajdak valued the piece at $650 in a trade to me. 572 grams or 1.25 pounds.
