Item Description

Very glassy, gemmy to translucent, honey-brown vesuvianite crystals, to 1.6 cm (terminated), cover the sculptural small cabinet matrix of granular diopside and vesuvianite on this showy and rich specimen from the famous Jeffrey Mine. The noted bruising has minimal impact to the richness and quality of this uncommonly colored vesuvianite. Most Jeffrey vesuvianites are classic green or striking shades of purple.
