Item Description
An adorable, decidely different, two-sided vanadinite on barite miniature from the major early 1990s finds at Mibladen. Scintillating, sharp, well-formed red-orange color tabular, hexagonal crystals, aesthetically cover one side of the mounded bladed barite matrix. The other side features the lustrous, parallel-growth, iron oxide-tinted barite blades with a few scattered vannies and crowned by the dramatic large crystal. The crystals reach 1.2 cm and these crystals are very gemmy, with brilliant flashes of yellow-orange. Excellent quality all the way around and the composition is outstanding, with the large vannie elegantly perched at the crest. These specimens deserve more attention for being some of the most impressive representations of the species extant. Valued at $300-500, for aesthetics and excellent gemmy quality of the crystals. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
