Item Description

Scintillating, gemmy, olive-green, sphalerite twins, to 1.3 cm, richly and attractively cover the matrix plate of mixed sulfides and quartz on this very showy and fine example from this well-known Madan mine. Scattered small galena crystals are a nice accent. These are classic crystals from this locale and the bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Paco Gutierrez Collection.
