Item Description
A spectacular large combination specimen from recent finds at the renowned Pederneira Mine. A fabulous, 8.1 cm, gemmy and lustrous, bottle-green with black, pyramidal termination tourmaline "spear" is impaled in the side of a glassy, transparent to translucent quartz crystal. Two cleavelandite blades beautifully accent the front. The contacted back hosts numerous tourmalines, many with watermelon-pink cores and purple lepidolite crystals. The presentation face is essentially pristine, including both crystal terminations. The tourmaline is totally pristine and the quartz tip very trivial bruising is out of sight on the back of the crystal. Seldom will you see a combination Pederneira with such dramatic visual flare! Comes with a custom-made lucite base, valued at $125, for free. Valued at $2000-2500.
