A classic, very fat, dark green tourmaline from the Little Three Mine. These are for some reason the characteristic style of large tourmalines from this location - very dark olive-green, but with glowing neon green zones when strongly backlit. Highly lustrous, well-striated with a black termination. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only minimal side contacting and very trivial termination edge wear. 640 grams or 1.4 pounds. LARGE for the locale! Ex. Pala International/William Larson Collection. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $150, for free. Valued at $2500. An extremely fine, large tourmaline from the Little 3. The crystal is broader, than it is tall.
