Gorgeous rich blue color and gemminess on this amazing, sculptural, tabular, partially terminated compound topaz crystal from the well-known Tarryall Mountains. The blue color is topflight for the locality and the lustrous, very glassy, gemmy crystal is water-clear to translucent. The parallel-growth features, especially along the primary edge, add dramatic quality to the piece. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The healed attachments are along the back of the sloped edge and at the base. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. 59 grams mass.
