Item Description

Mineral specimens of any type are RARE and desirable from this less well-known San Diego County pegmatite. This gemmy and lustrous, light ice-blue topaz crystal with frosted/etched faces has a prominent pinacoidal termination flanked by interesting modified prism faces. Complete all-around. One side is dinged, but is out-of-sight in the primary display view. This was probably recovered by Roland Reed and partners in the 1970s. 42 grams mass. A MUST for the San Diego County pegmatite or species collector.
