An excellent, colorful and aesthetic tanzanite miniature. The gemmy and lustrous, sharply terminated, well-striated crystal has been lightly heat-treated to enhance the vibrant, beautiful blue color. It is complete all-around and very nearly pristine. One broad face is partially contacted, has a bit of embedded graphite and a trivial bit of bruising. The interior crazing adds character. This is a wonderful tanzanite miniature with textbook color and sharp crystal form. 21 grams. Valued at $2000.
