Gemmy Spinel octahedrons

A classic and excellent cluster of "ruby spinels" from Mogok. The gemmy and lustrous octahedrons are a vivid, cherry-red and just glow with color when backlit. This is an outstanding floater cluster, with only a bit of contacting on one spot, but no damage, per se. Clusters of this larger size were never common. You just dont see many of these around anymore, with the trade embargo. 10 grams.
