Gemmy Sphalerite, Galena and Johannsenite (Larry Krause)

Item Description

Although it does not look like much to the worldwide collector, this is actually a very good combination locality piece for this mine. Gemmy and lustrous, sharp, olive-green to lustrous gray sphalerite crystals to 9 mm along with a few matte-gray galena cubes attractively line the vug. A 1.1 cm pod of small brownish crystals of johannsenite (a rare pyroxene silicate) rests next to the vug. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
