Item Description
A spectacularly colorful, gemmy, large, sphalerite cleavage from this renowned locale. The piece is root beer-brown and olive-green under plain light, but GLOWS with gemmy, parallel bands of rich golden-yellow and maroon, when backlit! This is cutting grade sphalerite. Ex University of Delaware Collection. The numbers on the label and specimen match. 133 grams.
