Gemmy Spessartine Garnets on Quartz with Schorl ex Obodda

Gemmy spessartines are attractively scattered on all sides of the intergrown terminated quartz crystals on this uncommon, aesthetic and excellent combination specimen from the Shigar Valley and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The sharp spessartines, to 1.0 cm, have beautiful orange-red color. The single schorl crystal poking out is a nifty accent and there is a large schorl embedded under the quartz crystal. A very fine and pristine, 360-degree piece. Gem spessartines on sharply teminated quartz crystals, such as this, are RARE and desirable from the Shigar Valley.
