Gorgeous, gemmy, burnt-orange spessartines with cherry-red centers are richly peppered along with glassy, smoky quartz points on the undulating feldspar matrix. This beauty hails from the much less well-known Lechang Mine in Guangdong Province and has produced far fewer specimens, that the famous Tongbei area of Fujian Province. The gemmy quality and color of these garnets, to 9 mm, is very high. Pristine. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality of this uncommon and fine combination piece.
