Gemmy Scheelite with Muscovite

The recent finds at Mt Xuebaoding have produced some outstanding scheelite and muscovite specimens and this is a fine exampe. The sharp, translucent, highly lustrous, 3.0 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm, honey-brown octahedron is beautifully accented with a frill of pearlescent, shimmering, silvery, muscovite plates. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, a trivial bit of barely noticeable edgewear is noted on the scheelite. Super white fluorescence, as you would expect. Excellent and very showy combination material.
