Gemmy Scheelite (fluorescent)

Item Description

This is an outstanding, textbook, scheelite pseudo-octahedron from recent Chinese finds. The upper half of the crystal is gorgeous and gemmy, with very rich, golden-amber color above the orangy, translucent, lower-half portion. The supremely glassy crystal is complete all-around and is in great shape. One spot of trivial edge wear is noted just below the termination and the contacting on the lower half of the back is out-of-sight in the preferred display views. The rich color saturations and gemminess of the termination are superb and were hard to capture with the camera. Excellent white fluorescence. This is a major spiker for this auction, valued at $1500-2000. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
