Item Description

A very nifty pair of parallel-growth morganite crystals from the February, 2005 finds at this well-known California pegmatite. Collected by Cal Graeber, the tabular crystals have a fabulous gemmy, transparent to translucent C-face with pretty pink color and frosted, nearly matte, edge faces. The striking, unusual hexagonal form and green lepidolite books add much sculptural quality and contrast. Morganite specimens of this quality are quite rare from here. Valued at $2000 and worth it. A must for the San Diego County pegmatite collector. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
