A stunning and outstanding rhodochrosite miniature from the Schlichter Collection and the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. Very gemmy and glassy, rose-red to rose-pink, rhodochrosite rhombs to 7 mm richly cover the gossan matrix crust. Gemmy rhodo crystals like this are amongst the most desirable rhodochrosite varietals from Mexico and this a really good one. The crystals are not large, but they so gemmy and there are so many of them. Gemmy rhombs are less common than gemmy scalenohedrons.
