Item Description
A significant, large single proustite crystal from this historic locale. The photos say it well on this piece. The proustite has the classic silvery luster, "ruby silver", and has a gemmy bright red interior. The large crystal exhibits a well formed termination, well-striated faces and is complete all-around. Although likely a very old specimen, it has been preserved well. The gemmy translucence is evident in any light. Ex Robert Hauck Collection. Valued at $1500-1800
