Gemmy Morganite ex Obodda

An excellent and classic, tabular morganite crystal from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The glassy, vivid pink crystal has water-clear edges and prism faces, with the typical translucent inner core. Some edge faces are water-clear and some are typically frosted and etched. The sprinkling of snow-white cleavelandite blades is a nice accent to this showy, two-sided gem crystal. For the size, this is an excellent example, with pretty color and much better than normal gemminess, from this locale. Difficult to photograph, due to glassiness and gemminess. Herb valued this at $250, five or more years ago. Fairly valued today at $300-500, we think. 11 grams.
