Item Description
Scapolite is the name of a recognizable very complex silicate, but is actually a member of the Marialite-Meionite Series. This is an oustanding and rare large crystal from a small find a number of years ago. The sharply terminated, well-formed tetragonal crystal is very glassy, gemmy to translucent and has pinkish-gray color. Crystals of this size and quality are RARE from the Koksha Valley. Bright yellow-orange fluorescence. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine crystal at $600, more than 6 years ago. It is certainly worth more today. 70 grams mass.
