Gemmy Indicolite Tourmaline w/ Lepidolite

This gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous teal-blue indicolite tourmaline is beautifully partially swathed with cream lepidolite crystals. The upper 1.1 cm below the complex pyramidal termination is limpid gem, with the rest of the crystal being translucent on this well-striated, highly lustrous, trigonal crystal. Complete all-around. One out-of-sight side of the base is contacted where another crystal once lay, but there is very minimal bruising. In fact, this reveals, that the base of the crystal is hollow! Classic indicolite tourmaline from the Pederneira Mine with a twist. 18.88 carats or over 3.5 grams mass.
