Gemmy Heliodor (irradiated)

Item Description

White albite is a dramatic accent to this yellow gem beryl crystal with a dramatic water-clear mid-section. Translucent areas surround the gem section of this very glassy, well-striated crystal, adding much pizzazz. The crystal has a super glassy, water-clear termination. Complete all-around and pristine. This particular style/color from here are now generally accepted (by me at least) to be faked (irradiated aquamarine) and from Pakistan. For more info, See: http://www.mindat.org/loc-5384.html.
