Scintillating, gemmy, water-clear, pretty light cinnamon-brown grossular garnets cover the mounded matrix on this very showy and highly representative example from the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine. The prominent large grossular is a large, 1.8 cm. In very good shape, overall. Modest contacting is noted along the periphery. Ex Dave Bristol Collection and valued at $400 in exchange to us - I think an old price that should be more valued now that the quarry is closed.
