Gemmy Grossular Garnets (classic locale)

Item Description

Intergrown, glassy, gemmy, rich cinnamon-orange colored crystals, to about 1.0 cm across on a showy undulating matrix and a true classic from this now-closed Canadian mine. Some of the crystals on the lower center and far right are lighter colored and there is modest bruising in these areas. However, they have minimal impact to this highly representative large minature piece with fine color, luster, transparency and stepped-growth faces. Choice luster and intensity. Classic Jeffrey Mine grossular garnet.
