Gemmy Fluorite twin

A shapely and impressive, 2.3 x 2.1 x 1.8 cm, pristine pair of interpenetrating fluorite cubes dominate this sculptural and aesthetic small cabinet combination from the October, 2023 Yum Yum Pocket find at the Diana Maria Mine at famed Weardale. The gemmy and lustrous pair are mostly a rich purple, with a bit of included translucent, white fluorite on the back of the large cube. Depending on the light source, hints of green are noted. The large cubes rest on smaller Fluorites atop a vein of small glassy Quartz points. The basal matrix is glassy, translucent yellowish-green Fluorite. A few bruised smaller fluorite cubes to the lower right of the large pair are noted, but are certainly a modest detraction. Bright blue-purple LW UV fluorescence. The label has a $850 price tag. From a USA collector who diligently acquired specimens from every pocket. Very showy and artistic small cabinet combination from the mine highlighted by a classic pair of large interpenetrating twins.
