Gemmy, bi-colored, rich grape-purple to near colorless, interpenetrating fluorite cubes to 2.0 cm aesthetically cover this large plate classically accented with five galena octahedrons on this outstanding combination specimen from this famous Weardale locale, closed in 1931. The quality of these cubes is way above average for the locale. Nearly pristine, only a trivial bit of corner wear to a couple of cubes is noted. Super fluorescence, as you would expect. Valued at $1750 and worth it. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
