Gemmy Fluorite cubes (classic - fluorescent)

Item Description

Striking clusters of glassy, transparent, stepped-growth, sea-green fluorite cubes are richly scattered on both sides of the colorless fluorite matrix on this very showy two-sided rib from the famous mines at Naica. The preferential yellow iron oxide coatings give the cubes added character and color contrast. The interiors of both sides are in great shape, with only a bit of near edge bruising on the primary side. Classic older Naica material from the 1960s or 70s. Purple fluorescence. Better in person.
