Gemmy and lustrous fluorapatite crystals are richly and attractively scattered on this large two-sided combination rib from the famous Panasqueira mines. The textbook, beautifully color-zoned, olive-green crystals reach 2.0 x 1.5 x 0.7 cm and rest on a matrix of sulfide-covered muscovite books. The back is covered entirely with lustrous rosettes of honey-brown colored muscovites and you can see the large broken quartz crystal on both sides. Rich sulfur-yellow fluorescence. Classic, rich and excellent combination material from this famous locale. Valued $600-800.
