A highly lustrous, deep wine-red, twinned rutile crystal with gemmy highlights from the famous Champion Mine of Mono County, California! Very nearly pristine, this super floater, has a bit of contacting on the backside, but only very trivial edgewear. Ex. Dick Jones Collection. Old material, MUCH more rare than rutile from Georgia, in the US.
