Gemmy Euclase (rare old classic)

Gem euclase crystals, such as this stunning sharply terminated beauty, came from this obscure Minas Gerais locale in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Part of the crystal is a water-clear gem, with the complex pyramidal termination faces being like cut glass. Part of the crystal is translucent. Two prism faces are very highly lustrous and beautifully striated. The third prism face of the trigonal crystal is cleaved. The termination is pristine. This remains a rare and most excellent example of the species species and locale. Very seldom on the market. 23 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
