Item Description

An aesthetic intergrown cluster of lustrous parallel-growth epidote crystals from Tormiq and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The very glassy crystals have beautiful areas of the clove-brown to olive-green gemminess when backlit. Some of the sharply terminated crystals are doubly terminated. The scattered edge wear and broken section are noted, but this remains a large, excellent and highly representative example of the locale and species. Valued by Herb at $500, more than 6 years ago.
