A dramatic large crossed tourmaline crystal cluster from the famous Pederneira Mine. The glassy, gemmy to translucent tourmalines are mostly a rich bottle green but all of the crystals have partial pink interiors, making them classic watermelon tourmalines. The impresssive large tapered crystal has a beautiful gem termination area and the vivid lilac lepidolite crystals are a super accent. The large crystal is doubly terminated. The large end is a rehealed break with just a bit of bruising. The basal termination is pristine. The cross crystals add real pizzazz to this striking and excellent large piece. Two clean repairs at the mid-section, at the cross crystals, are out-of-sight in the display view. A choice, fine and classic large Pederneira tourmaline fairly valued at $2500.
