Item Description
A striking, gorgeous, gemmy, CABINET calcite from Elmwood! The two, stacked, intergrown crystals are twinned at the top and the terminations have excellent golden-amber color and gemminess. Dramatic, indeed. Specimens of this quality are becoming notably scarce with the closing of the mine. This is an excellent, large, complete all-around crystal group. Amazingly, all four terminations are in great shape, with only the tiniest bit of edgewear. NO cleaved terminations. The contact is at the base of the piece. This is a dramatic, large and highly representative example of the famed species and locale. Valued $750-950. Ex Consie Prince Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
