Gemmy DT Tourmaline (classic locale)

Item Description

A gorgeous, gem, bi-colored toumaline from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The upper 6 mm of the termination is beautiful vivid pink and strikingly runs down only one side of the starkly contrasting blue-gray steel body. The water-clear, well-striated crystal has very high glassiness and luster. The crystal is technically doubly terminated, as both ends were broken and have rehealed. Pristine. One termination edge is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Classic old-time and desirable Cruzeiro from the 1960s or 70s. 16 grams mass.
