Stunning vivid pink color saturation on this very gemmy stout tourmaline from Pech. Most of the very glassy, well-striated crystal is incredibly limpid, with the base being translucent. The crystal has a very interesting multi-faceted pyramidal termination with embedded muscovite plates, adding pizzazz and contrast. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a gently bruised termination and a trivial bit of bruising among the muscovite plates, with are certainly only modest detractions. The crystal is techically doubly terminated, as the broken base is rehealed. 45 grams mass. A beautiful rich pink Pech tourmaline. Ex Uwe Strauss Collection.
