Item Description
A cute gemmy, bi-colored, doubly terminated indicolite tourmaline from circa 2010 finds at the renowned Pederneira. The body of the glassy, well-striated, layered transparent to translucent trigonal crystal is a pretty teal-blue. The stepped-growth termination is a purple cap with a rich indicolite blue section below. The highly modified pinacoidal termination is light yellow to near colorless with a mint-green section below. The side car crystals on this end, especially the small tabular purple cap add pizzazz to this excellent and pristine Perderneira tourmaline. 19 grams mass. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
