Item Description

Peridot is much more uncommon from this obscure Pakistan locale, than from the much more well-known and nearby Sapat Gali locality. This is an aesthetic intergrown pair of gemmy and lustrous, pretty lime-green, sharply terminated crystals. A doubly terminated floater, the base has a bit of attached albite. Essentially pristine, a basal contact on one side has only very trivial bruising. A very showy and excellent example of the species and uncommon locality. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. 13 grams.
