Item Description

An elegant, parallel-growth cluster of very glassy, gemmy, olive-green, clinozoisite crystals from recent finds at Alchuri. The striking elongate and flattened crystals are doubly terminated. One end has a striking crazyquilt cluster of gemmy, lighter colored crystals. Facinating. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. An outstanding, large example of the species and locale. Valued at $500-600. 18 grams mass. Ex Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection and is illustrated on Page 3 of the Clinozoisite Photo Gallery for the locality.
