Item Description
A striking, gorgeous, gemmy, CABINET calcite from Elmwood! The crystal is twinned at the top and the terminations have excellent golden-amber color and gemminess. Dramatic, indeed. The two dorsal/ventral crystals add form and character. Specimens of this quality have become uncommon. This is an excellent, large, complete all-around crystal. Amazingly, the two primary terminations are in great shape, with only the tiniest bit of edgewear. NO cleaved terminations. A scattered trivial bit of edge wear is noticed elsewhere. The contact is at the base of the smaller crystals and one of these has a chipped termination. This is a dramatic, large and highly representative example of the famed species and locale. Valued $750-950. Ex Consie Prince Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
